I was a co-organiser of the Functional Fashion Competition at the robotics conference IROS. The concept was to create wearable (and fashionable) robotic garments that would respond in some way to people coming into your personal space. Judging was based on how wearable, stylish, functional and spectacular the garments were in action. We had five teams strutting their creations on the catwalk at the conference, plus many wonderful submissions of ideas from younger students. You can see more of the creations and the winning teams on our twitter page.
